 St Beuno's Grounds

From the grounds on a clear day the coastline from Rhyl to the Great Orme at Llandudno is clearly visible. Snowdon peeks out above the hills of the Clwyd valley. Denbigh on a hill dominated by its Castle is usually visible. While, more locally, the square tower of St Asaph Cathedral can be seen.

Locally the farmers specialise in sheep. They keep a few beef and dairy cattle as well as horses and ponies for riding. Keep your eyes open and you may well notice a local flock of alpaca and an ostrich or two.

Wild animals to be seen around Beuno's grounds are badgers, an occasional fox, pheasants, rabbits and squirrels - and we are visited at times by the peacocks from Tremeirchion.

Run your mouse slowly over the map and views from that spot will replace the picture above.
