St
Beuno's operate a bursary fund to enable those who would find our full
offering too expensive.
Though of course our offering is just what it says, an 'offering' and
not a fixed charge, nevertheless, it costs about 15% more to pay all
the bills at St Beuno's than we receive from even the full offering.
The shortfall is made up from a grant from central Jesuit funds in London.
So everyone who pays the full offering for a retreat is being subsidised
by about 15%.
However, we realise that the daily rate for retreats of £56 is difficult
to find for many people. Therefore we offer a further subsidy to reduce
the costs a little more.
Last year we gave more away in grants than we received in donations.
In the short-term there are no worries, but obviously we cannot continue
to subsidise retreats if we don't receive donations to cover.
Any donation, however small, would be appreciated. We particularly
appreciate it if UK taxpayers could fill in a gift-aid form for any
donation they might wish to give, which increases your donation without
any cost to you.

If you need help from the Bursary Fund, please contact the secretary.
Bursaries only cover a percentage of the offering. We cannot offer full
bursaries. Students and young people who
need some help please check on the Student page where special offers
are to be found.
